The Betrayer

This fan art is for the totally awesome story of 'The Seer' contest on 'the Dark Sorcerer.'
To begin with I never though to enter this contest but when I drew this guy in class one day I couldn't help but to finish it off and enter. I draw a lot of doodles but don't have time to finish them off.

Mostly from what i've read i believe that the Sorcerer isn't human anymore since he consume by darkness, becoming the very darkness he crave for so I though he should have something that would mark him such as the snitch's eye style for his own as he was the one who creates and control them for his own errands.

The armour that can be seen beneath the cloak was a last minute thing that came from Bk 3 Pt1 chap 37; since he used to represent one of the leaders in Cantoria, he still has pieces of his armour of this past life to remind those who knew him that of the pain and suffering he brought to their land through his betrayal and also mocking them as he destroys their hope, one seer after another.

He is wearing a seer stone around his neck but it cracked and faded as it fill with darkness and the despair of the people in Cantoria and the chain is affected by becoming rusted and dirty; though the rest of the stones he collects he merges them with his staff so to have that power within reach at all time
