Scrooge was much merrier on his rounds this time than he had been in the morning. He greeted nearly every worker who passed by unless he was busy speaking with Fenton over serious matters. Dudley walked right behind them, as usual, holding Fenton’s clipboard and handing it to him whenever the man asked for it.
